Hello All,
I am so very sorry for the delay but we had a problem downloading the pictures. It seemed every time I tried a new problem came up. It seems like time is just passing by so quickly! Can you believe it is the end of September?? I am so excited to share Jonathan's Baptism day with all of you. It truly was a perfect day! It started out with the sun shining as we hoped for and Jonathan looking like a picture perfect baby all dressed in white. We were so blessed to have our niece Sheri come from Crystal River to share in our joy in witnessing Jonathan being baptised. It was also wonderful to have both Amy Joys best friends stand up and be Godparents to Jonathan. Diana and Amy Joy both were baptized in our church as well..way back as in 20 years ago. Where has the time gone? I wonder so much. As our angel was being baptized by our wonderful Pastor I couldn't help but get flash backs of what seems like yesterday when Amy Joy, Warren and I stood in the same place as Amy Joy was baptized. We used the same candle that was used with both our children on their baptism day. When Warren and I started taking our children to Church and Sunday School, one of our goals was to see their children attend the same church and make their Sacrament's. ..back then it seemed so long down the road. Now we are on that road, we are filled with joy that we are able to witness seeing our Jonathan make his sacraments in the same church. Our Pastor made the worship service special by mentioning Jonathan's name in his sermon. It is always a joy to witness a baby being welcomed into Gods family. The reception was such fun. We danced and ate and visited with so many that we have not seen in such a long time. All the children that attended had a great time especially on the dance floor. I wonder why it takes an affair or an event or a sacrament to be made to see so many long time good friends? It truly was wonderful visiting with so many we have not seen in so long. Warren and I have taken on the task over the years to raise money or give extra when we have it to beautify our aging playground at church. In lieu of gifts we asked for contributions for the upgrade of the playground...and we are happy to say we have enough for a few new pieces of equipment. We are so excited and can't wait to see them placed.
Jonathan brings so much joy and love to our home. We are so excited with each new advancement and milestone he makes. We feel we have been so blessed with such a beautiful, healthy and happy baby.
Enjoy the pictures!

Amy, what a beautiful post. It sounds like it was a perfect day to honor this little guy. He looks SO BEAUTIFUL all in white!!!
Everything looks so pretty. I enjoyed all the pictures, I LOVED the one where your daughter is holding Jonathan and looking at him (and she has his blanket draped over her shoulders, and he's looking away). that is such a pretty picture of both of them, but especially him.
Thanks for sharing such a special day with all of us, how blessed you all are to have him in your lives.
Amy, Everyone looks like they had a wonderful time. The party looks like it was so much fun too. Jonathan does look like an angel all in his white!! He looks like a little doll sleeping in his little bed. The cake looked yummy too. :)
