Happy Birthday Jonathan!

Happy 2ed Birthday sweet boy! It has been awesome watching you all through your second year of life! It has been amazing watching the world unfolded itself through your eyes. What an amazing gift you are. I have truly been blessed again with another child in my life. The love you give me makes up for all my bad days. I love you Nanny's boy with every beat of my heart!

Hello All!

I hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday Season! It came and went so fast as usual. It was so exciting to see Jonathan enjoy Christmas so much. He had no trouble getting to know Santa ...but still calls reindeer " kitty cats". He is such a pleasure to be around and never quits smiling. He is a toddler that truly enjoys life. He now wraps his arms around my neck and holds it real tight. Nothing is sweeter to my soul than seeing him run out of the car so excited to run in my arms and hold my neck tight and not let go until I put him down. He is the only one who can touch my hair and mess it up! :) He now takes my hand everywhere that he wants to go...and tells me to sit down so we can play. He lets me know every time we pass a Wendy's on the road too. It's just now that he realizes that we don't stop every time we see one. :) His new word is "money" and he loves to get in mine and his Mommy's purse to get the "money" out so he can run and put it in his piggy bank. He still loves the cell phone and is beginning to work it better than I.
Just when I thought that his "throwing things" were in the past he surprised me as I allowed him to play with all my credit cards in Church on Christmas Eve. Anything at the time to keep him quiet...right? He usually just likes to take them in and out of the slots in my wallet..but on Christmas Eve in a packed sanctuary he decided to take them all out, sitting on my lap by the way and throw them up and as far as he could. Needless to say...they went everywhere including on people...and I was so embarrassed. If it was a regular Sunday, it would have been only a slight problem because we know everyone who sits around us....but Christmas Eve there were so many packed in each pew. Soooooooooo you know I just wanted to crawl under the pew. He keeps us on our toes for sure!
Check back real soon..as I should have his 2 year video finished! It should only take a few more days.
Happy New Year!..and we wish all of you the best in 2009!

Love and Hugs...

Ho Ho Ho!..(FFF Favorite Foto Friday)

Jesus Is The Reason For The Season Pictures, Images and Photos

Hello All,

We are so so busy ..getting ready for Christmas. So many things to do and the time just does not stand still. Since there was less time between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year it makes getting ready seem like it is more rushed.
Sarah's theme this week is "HO HO HO"!..I wanted to share Jonathan's Christmas Picture with all of you. I have enjoyed seeing all your children in their Holiday clothes. I could spend all day just looking at their precious faces with such wonder in their smiles!
We hope all of you have a very blessed Christmas and never forget "Jesus Is The Reason For The Season."

Love and Hugs to all of you!

Favorite Foto Friday.... "For Crying Out Loud!"

Hello Friends,

This week Sarah picked "For Crying Out Loud" for FFF. I new that would be no problem for us since for a long time now Jonathan does not like the camera one bit when I take it out.
As Happy as he always is..there are times when he is just not. :(
Here are a few that for no reason other than that I have the camera out he is "crying out loud"
Have a great fall weekend! We are so Happy here in Florida because this week we can wear long sleeves and pants instead of shorts. Soooooooooo different for us...and a little exciting.

Favorite Foto Friday..Happy Halloween!

halloween Pictures, Images and Photos

Happy Halloween to all of you!

It's pretty sad when a friend has to remind you on "Facebook" that you have not updated your blog. I need to do better ....that's all there is to it. Thanks Carrie!

Here is our baby boy that amazes us everyday. He LOVES Elmo and Barney, loves to follow Jordan everywhere he goes, loves to throw anything that reminds him of a ball, (such as pumpkins and rocks..Ugg!) has meltdowns like the world is coming to an end when he hears the word "NO", has shown us that he has a temper when things don't go his way and his taste for baby food is slowly becoming a thing of the past...on a more pleasant thought...he loves to be carried, loves when Jordan takes him for a stroller ride, tells me when he sees a bus or a big truck, did I mention that he absolutely loves Barney and Elmo? ...but most of all he LOVES when we cuddle at night and I give him his bottle. Yes my friends I still feed him his bottle at night and he falls asleep in my arms...I think I look forward to it more than he does. I think I have already told you that I know all to well that soon it will be a thing of the past so I am enjoying it until the very end...OH!..and one more thing he loves soooooooo very much is ME! I eat that up more than you know. If he hears my voice on the phone while I'm talking to Mommy, he cries, if we meet at a restaurant and Mommy does not let him come home with me, he cries real hard, if he only stops by for a short visit and Mommy carries him out to the car...his arms are reaching for me and he cries. Every time I think of him doing that, I smile with delight, because I again, know all to well it will be a thing of the past sooner than I would like. Needless to say, I tell him all the while he is crying that "Mommy is a "Meany". HEHEHE! Of course Mommy is not smiling at this time and is saying Grrrrrr! At those moments I remind her that my mother ( her Nanny) did that and was WORSE when she was this age. I can remember my mother letting her do EVERYTHING that we did not let her do at home. I remember feeling the same way...and little did I know that soon enough I would understand! :)

Love and Hugs.....and a very Happy Halloween to all of you!

A Summer Gone ....

<
Hello All!

As I begin to type I can not believe how long it has been since I have blogged. We have been so busy and it seems there has been no time to slow down. Now that school has started I'm looking forward to more time to post more often. Where did the summer go? Did it go as fast for you as it did for us? It is always bittersweet for me when school starts. So happy that my children are healthy and able to attend the next grade...but oh so sad to see them growing up and changing.

Since Fridays FFF (Favorite Foto Friday) was our children with "Friends With Stuffing" these are a few of our boy taken with his stuffed animals. He has grown so much over the summer. I always bring one of his own stuffed animals when I get his picture taken. Jonathan is such a "ham" when it comes to his picture being taken by someone else other than myself. He just laughs and laughs when the girl at the studio takes it ....but if I bring out the camera...LOOK OUT! This is one of the things I am going to try again since the summer is over. Another thing I'm going to try is "new" foods. I tend to give him what I know he will eat..so I'm going to make an effort in introducing him to more foods. I will let you know how our adventure goes. :)
Even though I have not blogged much over the summer I have kept up with all of yours. I enjoy so much reading all about my blogging friends in blog world! Seeing your children grow and change brings a smile to my heart. Even though I did not comment much..know that I did visit and I promise I am going to be a better blogging friend!

Happy Earthly Birthday Mom!

Hello Friends!

Today is a very special day in our family. It is a day we will always remember as it was Mom's earthy birthday. She is missed more with each passing day. Isn't it wonderful that God has promised us that we will be reunited with our loved ones!

Happy Earthly Birthday Mom!
Most days for 11 years now I have visioned the day we will be reunited. Today I can't help think of all your earthly birthdays that were filled with lunches, dinners, cards, gifts, deserts and laughter. OH how I miss those days gone by! As I think of those special times I can't help but think how blessed I am to be able to say I had the best Mom in the world! You have made me what I am today. You taught me all about being a good mother, to keep my family together no matter what, how important it is to be the bigger person in all situations, the power of forgiveness and two of the most important things a Mother can do for her child...to love their father and to know Jesus! For these things and more I will be forever grateful! As I reflect on the character that you were I still see most vividly a woman who was selfless, a women who gave when she did not have, a women who went without so her children could have more, a women who ALWAYS had a smile on her face even in the most challenging of times, a women who forgave EVERYONE, and a women who thought her grandchildren were more than prized possessions. I hope when my tasks are done here on earth that my children love, admire and miss me as we do you!

I miss you Mom and and oh how glorious the day will be when we are reunited...Forever!

Love and Hugs....

FFF (Favorite Foto Friday) "Our Red, White and Blue"!

Hello All,

Even though it rained hard on and off all day we were able to get our family picnic going and did lots of swimming. Jonathan loved watching the fire works but unfortunately had to watch from our garage. Our city and the surrounding city's canceled their shows due to the rain. Luckily I bought loads of fire works for the kids to do. ...and yes....those are birthday presents in the back ground. We or I should say "I" celebrated Johnathan's 18 months birthday. His actual birthday is so close to Christmas that Grandma feels he gets a little neglected....so I want to make sure I celebrate it on his 1/2 "date" birthday too. It seemed I was so busy with Christmas and so very tired that I did not enjoy his real birthday. I'm assuming this will be every year. I think I can get away with it because I'm Grandma! :)

Good Morning 4th of July!

smiley Jordan...

only happy to sit for the picture if I give him my phone!

If you notice closely you can see that our baby boy has his finger bandaged. Mom was in the kitchen and out came Jonathan with her razor in his hand that he grabbed from the bathroom. Mom says she usually is so good about making sure things are up and our of reach..but unfortunately this time she forgot. He seemed to be out of sorts with his finger all covered up. He went around showing me by holding it up. Soooooooo very sweet he is! Have a good week and I am looking forward to seeing everybody in red, white and blue!

FFF (Favorite Foto Friday)..Bloopers!

Hello All!

This weeks theme is "bloopers". We all have them but we have many more than most because our boy is not to fond of the camera lately. To get a good picture of him with a smile on his face is quite challenging now. I hope this stage extinguishes very quickly. :) Enjoy all of our "Bloopers". You may have to click on the picture to get a better look. I told you we have many of them!
