Happy Birthday Jonathan!

Happy 2ed Birthday sweet boy! It has been awesome watching you all through your second year of life! It has been amazing watching the world unfolded itself through your eyes. What an amazing gift you are. I have truly been blessed again with another child in my life. The love you give me makes up for all my bad days. I love you Nanny's boy with every beat of my heart!

Hello All!

I hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday Season! It came and went so fast as usual. It was so exciting to see Jonathan enjoy Christmas so much. He had no trouble getting to know Santa ...but still calls reindeer " kitty cats". He is such a pleasure to be around and never quits smiling. He is a toddler that truly enjoys life. He now wraps his arms around my neck and holds it real tight. Nothing is sweeter to my soul than seeing him run out of the car so excited to run in my arms and hold my neck tight and not let go until I put him down. He is the only one who can touch my hair and mess it up! :) He now takes my hand everywhere that he wants to go...and tells me to sit down so we can play. He lets me know every time we pass a Wendy's on the road too. It's just now that he realizes that we don't stop every time we see one. :) His new word is "money" and he loves to get in mine and his Mommy's purse to get the "money" out so he can run and put it in his piggy bank. He still loves the cell phone and is beginning to work it better than I.
Just when I thought that his "throwing things" were in the past he surprised me as I allowed him to play with all my credit cards in Church on Christmas Eve. Anything at the time to keep him quiet...right? He usually just likes to take them in and out of the slots in my wallet..but on Christmas Eve in a packed sanctuary he decided to take them all out, sitting on my lap by the way and throw them up and as far as he could. Needless to say...they went everywhere including on people...and I was so embarrassed. If it was a regular Sunday, it would have been only a slight problem because we know everyone who sits around us....but Christmas Eve there were so many packed in each pew. Soooooooooo you know I just wanted to crawl under the pew. He keeps us on our toes for sure!
Check back real soon..as I should have his 2 year video finished! It should only take a few more days.
Happy New Year!..and we wish all of you the best in 2009!

Love and Hugs...

Happy Belated Birthday Sweet Jonathan!!

Oh, what a precious child he is. I know I keep telling you this, but he's just so beautiful, what can I say?

I enjoyed your post, and oh my! I hope you got all your cards back!

I guess we get to be embarrased as grand-parents too!!

Glad you enjoyed the holidays. Yes, seeing it through the eyes of our grands is so special.

Blessings to you my sweet friend♥

Happy Belated Birthday, Jonathan!! My goodness, I can't believe he is 2!! That means Allie is right behind him and I haven't even thought about what to do for her birthday. :)

I hope he enjoyed his special day and I can't wait to see the video. He grows more handsome every day!

Love and hugs to both of you . . .
